Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Activation?

Activation, also known as Integration, is a powerful modality designed to correct muscle imbalances and dysfunction in the body that often result from stress, physical tension, and unresolved emotional trauma. These compensations limit the body’s ability to function at its full potential and increase the risk of pain and injury.

This technique targets the body’s prime movers and key priorities—such as inactive diaphragms—by stimulating specific reflex points to help reset and regulate the nervous system. Through this process, the body is brought back into a state of balance and order, allowing for more efficient movement, improved strength, and the release of stored tension and emotion. The ultimate goal is holistic integration of mind, body, and spirit—empowering clients to live with greater wholeness and vitality. Results are often immediate and measurable.

Who Can Benefit?

Everyone!

I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, including:

  • Athletes, seeking greater strength, resiliency, and enhanced performance
  • Older adults, looking to improve mobility, posture, and balance
  • Everyday individuals, navigating pain, stress, or restricted movement

Many clients come to me not only for physical relief, but also for support in addressing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and emotional stress that are held in the body. Activation offers a gentle but transformative way to support both healing and performance from the inside ou

What Sets Integration Glory Apart?

At the core of every session is activation—a powerful technique I use to help realign the body, enhance function, and reduce the stress response.

While activation is a cornerstone of my approach, it’s one of many tools I draw from to make each physical therapy session more effective and personalized.

With 15 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist and training in a variety of modalities, I tailor treatment plans that reflect both expertise and care.

I work one-on-one with every client, creating customized plans that support their goals and promote healing—physically, emotionally, and neurologically.

For those who are open to it, I also offer prayer as part of a holistic healing process.

What Can I Expect in a Session?

Your first session will be a 90-minute comprehensive evaluation. We’ll begin with a conversation about your physical pain, limitations, or areas of concern, followed by a movement assessment to identify patterns of dysfunction. You’ll also receive in-depth education about the Activation method and how dysregulation of your autonomic nervous system may be contributing to your symptoms. After that, we’ll begin hands-on Activation and treatment.

Please wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to lie down on a treatment table during the session.

How Long Is a Session?

Each session—whether it’s your initial evaluation or a follow-up—is 90 minutes long. This allows ample time for thorough Activation work, additional manual therapy as needed or requested, and guidance on home exercises to support your progress between visits.

What are the fees?

The initial evaluation is $250, and follow-up appointments are $200. All major forms of payment are accepted, including Health Savings Account (HSA) debit cards.

Please note that insurance is not accepted at this time, but a receipt can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Is Activation Considered Physical Therapy?

Yes, it is. Activation is a form of physical therapy that targets areas of the body that have developed compensations and lost proper function. By reactivating the body’s prime movers, this approach restores proper movement patterns and enhances overall performance and healing.  It makes everything else we do in PT that much more effective as the body is in proper alignment to carry out all other exercise and functional mobility.

Can I See You for Physical Therapy Concerns, Too?

Absolutely! While my space may not resemble a traditional outpatient clinic, I provide thorough, personalized care as a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. I’m happy to evaluate and treat a wide range of physical concerns as part of your overall healing and wellness journey.

Is This Considered a “New Age” Practice?

No, it is not. This approach does not involve energy work or practices commonly associated with New Age spirituality.

Instead, it is a holistic method grounded in science and rooted in a Christ-centered perspective. It focuses on the integration of mind, body, and spirit, using proven techniques to support healing and function. It is supported by scientific evidence and physiological results are immediate and measurable.

Do you do home visits?

Depending on the location, a home visit can be scheduled in advance with an additional cost incurred for time spent on the road, gas and mileage factored.
